2. Saturday Feb, 17, 2018 KNBC Winter Social 6 pm start

Amberwood Lounge & Eatery (ALE), 54 Springbrook Dr. Stittsville

This is a follow-up message to encourage you to come out to our annual KNBC Winter Social. This year we have booked a new venue and will be holding the celebration at Amberwood Lounge & Eatery in Stittsville. The cost, including tax & tip, is $41.60 and includes a starter salad, choice of 2 entries, dessert, tea and coffee (see full menu details and options listed below). The event will start at 6:00pm. Payments are to be made individually directly to ALE on the night of the event.

With our bikes tucked away for the winter, let’s put our party duds on and get together again to celebrate cycling with good friends. In addition to enjoying a gourmet meal together, we will have a bike shorts video “Celebrating KNBC’rs” for entertainment and some skill testing activities with a free KNBC 2018 club membership to the winner.

Please RSVP to Janet Clark at social@knbc.ca and indicate entree selection (Beef Tenderloin or Salmon) and/or any special dietary requirements. Menus to accommodate special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, will also be available upon request.

This what one of our KNBC members, Nancy Hough, is saying about the venue for our social “ALE, Amberwood Lounge and Eatery, is one of my favourite eateries.  We have always enjoyed the food – the décor is pleasant and the staff attentive.”

Hope to see you there and we encourage all members, including newer members to come out and enjoy this event.  Your non-member partners are welcome as well.

Please Note:  No changes/cancellations are permitted after Feb 10, 2018 when we will place our order, so you will still be responsible for payment to the club for your meal if you have to cancel at the last minute.
