Final reminder, it is still not too late! You are invited to come out and share some holiday cheer and get together with the KNBC cycle crowd. We will be holding our annual KNBC Holiday Meet & Greet at the Royal Oak at 117 Centrepoint Drive starting at 6 pm.

Hope to see you at the KNBC Meet and Greet.

2. Thursday Dec. 7 Christmas Light Bike Ride

5:30pm (pre-ride meet-up), 6:30pm ride departs from City Hall (north side)
Join us for a bright, wintry ride: Light up your bike for the holidays and come on out for an informal festive get together, and a ride around the Parliament Hill illuminations. If you plan to keep riding right on through the winter, this is a chance to make a statement of it in style, or to get a fun taste of cold weather cycling if you’ve never done it before.

3. Kingston Bike Tour – 4-7 June 2018 - Details

Spaces are filling up quickly for the June 2018 multi day 'hub and spoke' in-and-around Kingston, staying at Queens University 'premium' residences. This will be an L-3 tour, with approximately 20 participants.

PLEASE NOTE - residence booking IS BY UNIT:

EACH UNIT CONTAINS TWO BEDROOMS CONNECTED BY a SHARED washroom;

Each bedroom has one extra-long double bed, desk & chair, wardrobe, mini-fridge, and flat screen television; and

Ten, 2-bedroom units have been blocked.

Dates: 04, 05, 06 and 07 June, (Mon - Thurs), with three nights' accommodation and four days of cycling; two long and two short.

Accommodation cost: per person/per night will be approximately $60 ($109 per unit, plus tax).

The rides will be as follows:

Mon, 04 Jun: 11:00 start from the Cataraqui Community Centre to Battersea and back (58.5 km).

Tues, 05 Jun: 9:00 start from Queens to Odessa to Morven to Bath and back to Queens along the water (76.2 km).

Wed, 06 Jun: 9:00 start from Queens to catch 9:30 ferry. Loop on both sides of the St Lawrence, from Queens to Wolfe Island to Cape Vincent NY, over the Thousand Islands Bridge and back to Queens through Gananoque on the 1000 Islands Pkwy. Although a longer ride; 110 km, this includes two ferry rides and the terrain (which is gorgeous on both sides of the river), is relatively flat.

PLEASE NOTE: We will be walking our bikes across the Thousand Islands Bridge (on a pedestrian walk way). The view is spectacular - BUT - YOU CAN NOT BE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS TO DO THIS.

Thurs, 07 Jun: 10:00 start from Tim Hortons in Barriefield (near Fort Henry/Canadian Forces Base Kingston), right off Hwy 2.  Ride is a very scenic loop from Barriefield to Gananoque onto Howe Island (by Ferry) and back, (69 km).
